Pump tracks are the perfect place to improve your cycling skills in a fun way and at the same time train your strength, fitness, coordination and body awareness. The SCHOOL OF PUMP project was launched together with INTERSPORT Austria and LINES Magazine to motivate children and young people to exercise more.
As part of an Austria-wide pump track school tour, we offer free coaching for fourth grade elementary school classes in the morning. Two experienced trainers teach the correct riding technique in a double session, with a focus on safety and fun. INTERSPORT provides rental bikes and equipment, and all participants receive a certificate and a cool goodie bag at the end. In the afternoon, anyone interested can come by from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. to get tips from the pros and try out test bikes.
The SCHOOL OF PUMP is aimed at schools, communities and pump track operators who want to bring more exercise and action to their region. Schools can offer their students an action-packed day with professional bike coaching, while communities and operators can put their pump tracks in the spotlight and attract more regional attention.
